Your free AI study partner
Stuck on a question? Ask TymerCRE anything about your subjects and get clear, step-by-step explanations — any time, any day, for free.
What is TymerCRE?
TymerCRE is EduVille's AI study tutor. It's a chat assistant that helps you understand topics from your ZIMSEC, Cambridge, or BEC syllabus. You type a question, and it explains the answer in simple English — the same way a patient teacher would.
It was built specifically for EduVille students. It's not a general-purpose chatbot; it's focused on school subjects and exam preparation.
What can it help with?
TymerCRE supports the subjects taught on EduVille:
Mathematics
Algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics — step-by-step working.
Physics
Mechanics, waves, electricity, and modern physics concepts.
Chemistry
Organic, physical and inorganic chemistry — reactions explained.
Biology
Cells, genetics, ecology, and human physiology.
Computer Studies
Programming basics, databases, and computer systems.
Exam technique
How to structure answers, avoid common mistakes, and manage time.
How it works
Ask a question the way you'd ask a teacher. Here's what a typical chat looks like:
To solve it, you have three main methods:
1. Factorise — works when the numbers are simple
2. Complete the square — useful for finding the vertex
3. Quadratic formula — always works:
x = (−b ± √(b² − 4ac)) / 2a
Using the formula:
x = (−5 ± √(25 − 4·2·(−3))) / 4
x = (−5 ± √49) / 4
x = (−5 ± 7) / 4
So x = 0.5 or x = −3.
You can ask follow-up questions, request simpler explanations, or ask for more examples. TymerCRE remembers the conversation within a session so you don't have to repeat yourself.
What it can't do (and why that matters)
TymerCRE is a study assistant, not an unquestionable authority. Like all AI tools, it can sometimes:
- Give a wrong answer confidently
- Misunderstand a question
- Miss exam-specific conventions or marking-scheme requirements
⚠️ Always verify important answers with your teacher, your textbook, or an official marking scheme. Use TymerCRE to help you understand, not to replace your own working.

Is it ChatGPT?
No. TymerCRE is built specifically for EduVille using Google's Gemini AI. It's tuned to explain concepts at a secondary-school level and focused on ZIMSEC, Cambridge, and BEC content.
Can it write my essays for me?
It can help you structure ideas and understand how to approach a question, but it won't do your homework for you — and it shouldn't. The goal is to help you learn, not to replace your own work.
What if it gives a wrong answer?
Check with your teacher, textbook, or an official marking scheme. If you spot something repeatedly wrong, please let us know — we're constantly improving TymerCRE. Report issues at ttaroiwa@gmail.com.
