Keeping EduVille learning groups safe.

Be respectful

Treat everyone kindly. No bullying, insults, threats, hate or harassment of any kind.

Stay on topic

Study groups are for learning: questions, explanations, exam tips and revision. No spam, advertising or chain messages.

Keep it safe

  • Never share personal details: phone numbers, addresses, passwords or photos of yourself.
  • No inappropriate, sexual or violent content.
  • Students cannot post links. Teachers may share trusted study links.
  • Never arrange to meet someone from a group in private. Tell a teacher or parent if anyone asks you to.

Reporting

Tap ⚑ on any message, or use “Report group”. Reports are reviewed by the EduVille team. If a group is reported by five different people it is suspended immediately while we review it. After review we may restore, or ban the group or individual people.

What can happen

Group owners can mute or remove members. EduVille can delete messages, suspend or ban groups, and ban accounts from chat. To appeal a decision, email ttaroiwa@gmail.com.

Your messages

Group messages are visible to group members, the group owner and EduVille moderators. Reported messages are kept so we can review them.
